Mount Franklin Water 2004

The brief: Coca Cola Amatil's Mount Franklin range is Australia's leading brand of bottled water.

With increasing competition from sports drinks and flavoured waters, Coca Cola needed a platform to educate people about the health benefits of natural spring water.

The idea: We were creating an information website, something that educated people about spring water. We didn't want to give people a course in hydrology - instead, we concentrated on the benefits of spring water. The art direction set the tone - keeping things fresh, clean, simple. The copy followed suit, distilling complex information into light, easy, understandable content.

The results: Quite unexpectedly, the Mount Franklin website won the award for Best Design at the Water Design Awards. I didn't even know such an award existed, but I certainly appreciate the kudos.
