Campbell Page 2006
Campbell Page is a vibrant, non-profit organisation that helps people (in particular indigenous people), through a range of employment, community and learning services. They needed to change their existing, outdated branding to a more contemporary brand that was easily recognised and that integrated well across each of the different sectors within the organisation. They also wanted to change their name to give them a more dynamic and uplifting identity. They chose 'Life Moves'.
Each department was to remain consistent with the overall branding but still needed to be easily identifiable to the general public. Hence the different colours. Whilst the overall branding of the logos remained consistent (ie. the expressive, indigenous style person holding the sun), the bright colours for the different departments gave each of them their own identity. The colours were a great mechanism that could be used across brochures, staff shirts, on the website and on stationery etc.
Campbell page is about changing people's lives. Giving them hope and something to aspire too. It is about putting people's futures into their own hands so I designed the logo with the indigenous style person holding the sun. Their logo had to be strong and easily identifiable. It had to have a sense of energy about it and express 'hope' and 'a bright future'. Because a lot of Campbell Pages clientele are of an indigenous background, they needed a logo they could connect with.
