Miss Kiss

about meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

For the last 8 years I have been working in an online advertising environment. I started as a junior desginer and have worked my way into senior art directing. I have a solid background in design and fine arts and decided to harness those skills into the world of web and advertising. I have been very fortunate to work with alot of talented people over the years and as a consequence feel that I can take on most types of projects including above the line projects. I have a strong skillset in design, a proven record in concepting, a dangerously logical mind for information architecture and a sound understanding of multimedia and new technologies. I have primarlily been working in an advertising agency but never shy away from freelance opportunities. For larger scale projects I have a brilliant team of talented designers, cms coders, writers and producers to assist and who I work with on a regular basis.

Furthermore, I’ve spent numerous hours and late nights working on a wide variety of briefs with Jamal (my talented copywriter for the past 4 years). During those long winded, Redbull and Mother induced rants I’ve managed to learn a thing or two from him about the craft of writing, (and quite a bit more about Dave Shapelle and Scarlett Johansson). Now I certainly do not pretend to call myself a writer but I do believe I have an aptitude for knowing what works. I can write my own headlines, I’m an excellent proof reader and I know bad copy when I see it.

Finally, I have a diverse range of skillsets up my sleeve that I can pull out for almost any occassion. I’ve been a nanny, a cook, a dancer, a personal assistant, (no I won’t make you coffee every day), an athlete, a tutor and a coach. I’ve studied interior design, I’ve painted for a living, I’ve represented Australia in Highjump, I’ve worked for Rowan Atkinson, (Mr Bean) and I’ve tutored aspiring new hopefuls for Award School.
